Who we are
STAIRS Srl is an innovative startup founded in Verona in 2023 by the team of Istituto ISR, to turn twenty years of research on corporate risk into models, a platform and software.
Three founders
Pietro Domenichini
Business lawyer and auditor. In 2005 he founded Istituto ISR, the independent research institute on corporate liability, which he still directs. He was heard as an expert by the Chamber of Deputies in 2019, and his institute's methodology was adopted in the INAIL guidelines of 2023. Author of the volumes on corporate liability, geopolitical risk and organisational models listed in our record.
Francesco Ravazzolo
Full Professor of Econometrics at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, where he coordinates the Data Science and Mathematical Methods research area, and Head of the Department of Data Science and Analytics at BI Norwegian Business School. His work covers macroeconomic and financial forecasting, Bayesian econometrics and energy markets. Co-author of the GPML model and of our books on geopolitical risk.
Valentina Zambonini
Lawyer, specialised in building and running organisational models for legal entities, and a member of supervisory bodies. A member of Istituto ISR since 2005, author of articles and essays on organisational models for private and public organisations, and a director of technology companies and startups.
