Two passes, kept apart on purpose
First pass — document by question
For each document, the engine records what that document actually states, with literal quotations. No scores at this stage: only facts that can be reused.
Second pass — activity by criteria
For each business activity, the engine applies the criteria to the evidence collected and proposes scores and findings. Evidence lives in the document, the score lives in the activity: if a new activity is added, one is recalculated, not all.
Find and quote. Do not judge.
Every quotation the engine produces is searched word for word in the normalised text of the documents. If it is not there, it was invented, and it is discarded. No score is produced without valid evidence.
A check, not a request
The guard sits downstream of the model. It is not a recommendation the model may ignore.
Silence has two names
If no document could answer, it is a gap. If the document should exist and is missing, it is a proof by absence. A table decides, and the professional confirms.
Zero is a judgement
A field that has not been assessed stays empty. It is never filled with a zero.
Measured on one real client case before and after the guard was introduced: invented quotations went from 5.6% to 0.0%. Part of that zero is guaranteed by construction; the figure that measures the model is the number of proposals the professional challenged, and it is reported separately.
The engine proposes, the professional decides
- Nothing enters the record without a deliberate action by the professional.
- Identical proposals are grouped, so they are confirmed once.
- Nothing is overwritten: an earlier text stays below the new one, with the date and the document that was read.
- A single command restores everything as it was.
- It runs on the local machine: no remote server, no account, no subscription.
- No client document leaves the computer.
- That is the condition for working with regulated organisations such as banks, insurers and utilities.
